Handpicking, whole bunch pressing, minimal intervention and oak result in an expressive, energetic wine displaying the typical white floral and ripe citrus notes that are a hallmark of the region's best Chardonnay.

From Rockburn' Parkburn Vineyard in Bannockburn. The nose has subtle notes of lemon, grapefruit and hazelnut. The palate has full texture and fine tension, showing citrus, butterscotch and delicate minerality with a zesty finish.

Vibrant green in colour, the nose is fresh with lime juice cordial, white peach and hints of subtle creamy French oak. The palate is crisp and fresh, lime and honey dew melon linger, intertwined with well integrated oak and defined acidity that gives structure and length.

Aromas of roast nuts, fig and white peach. A crisp and bright palate, with a delicate clean finish. Peach, melon and orange skin flavours. This wine has a creamy mouthfeel and nutty notes from barrel ageing.

A snout-smackingly good, weighty and refreshing Chardonnay, with layers of ripe rock melon, toasted almond and a hint of squeezed lemon.

Sourced exclusively from Te Mata Estate's own vineyards. This Estate Vineyards Chardonnay was harvested from Bridge Pa Triangle, Woodthorpe Terraces and Havelock Hills vineyards. White gold in the glass, immediate refreshing appeal of ripe nectarine and lemon sorbet edged with sea-salt, roast almond and a hint of smoke from French oak. Delicious on its own, or a wonderful partner for both simply prepared and fuller flavoured seafood and white meat dishes.
